Our amazing executive director, Lindsay Mills, is closing out her season with us at Numana Inc this week. Her leadership and more importantly, friendship, will always be cherished.
When I joined the team at Numana, it was after some significant changes for the organization. I joined a team of two. An Operations Manager and an Executive Director, Lindsay Mills.
Coming from a media and corporate background, the non-profit world was very foreign to me. But luckily for us, it was not to Lindsay. She had previous experience in the sector and a passion for the mission that I’m convinced cannot be surpassed.
Starting over is always difficult, but Lindsay’s passion drove the organization back into play and the past five years have progressed into a great new chapter at Numana. Her dedication to the mission and the people it serves is more than impressive. It really is inspiring. On good days and bad, she always knew why she was there and what it meant for those we served.
As Lindsay wraps up her final week with Numana, I think it is important we stop to say thank you. Thank you for your dedication to the mission and the countless lives you have touched both at the events and on the receiving side of this work.
