Numana is excited to announce a partnership with the Rotary Club of El Dorado and Rotary International District 5690 to package meals for Lambert, Haiti.
On Wednesday, December 29th from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the El Dorado Civic Center, The Rotarians of El Dorado and Rotary International District 5690 will host a meal packaging event. This event is open to the public and everyone is invited to help package 261,360 meals, a full shipping container, to send to Cap-Haitian Rotarians for distribution in Lambert, Haiti, near the north coast.
This event also holds special significance for Numana, as it marks the one year anniversary of the December 29, 2009 event that launched Numana as a national hunger relief agency. Numana will pass 21 million meals packaged in just one year at this celebratory event!
This is a great way to gather your family during the winter break and help save lives of people who are starving in Haiti. Until now, most of Numana’s Haitian relief has been concentrated in the southern part of the country due to its concentrated population and damage. Numana is excited to provide help to other areas that are in need.
Please join us for this event. Event registration is appreciated, but not required by clicking HERE. Donations are also needed and greatly appreciated. Please make checks out to Numana and send to P.O. Box 572, El Dorado, KS 67042 or donate online by clicking the donate button below.
