Our goal is to empower you to serve the hungry. We do this by facilitating food packaging events where your community of volunteers come to serve in an assembly line, packaging simple, nutritious meals.
HOW IT WORKS
Volunteers will measure the ingredients, scooping them into meal bags, weigh and seal the bags, and box the finished product. The boxes will then be loaded to trucks to prepare for international shipping.
The meals consist of rice, soy protein, freeze-dried pinto beans and a blend of vitamins and minerals targeted to help the immune system of malnourished people.
The cost of each life-sustaining meal is only 30 cents! This includes all of the ingredients, packaging, administration, and international shipping of the container. All you have to do is supply space for the event, volunteers to package the food, and the 30 cents per meal.
The containers of food are shipping to our partner organizations around the globe, who distribute the meals as needed. They are used to promote education, encourage school attendance, improve health and so much more! You can visit this page to view more information about our food distribution partners.
